Brussels, 05 February 2025 — Today, Beci reveals its new identity and its strengthened commitment to defending the interests of businesses in the Brussels metropolitan region. The launch is accompanied by a new campaign and the arrival of new structural partners.

Beci is reinventing itself with a new identity that fully embraces its mission: to represent, connect and support Brussels businesses. This change marks a major renewal for the organisation, which for 300 years has worked to amplify the voice of businesses, create connections and provide the tools necessary for the success of Brussels entrepreneurs.

Since 1703, Beci has managed to overcome historical and economic upheavals to reinvent itself without ever losing sight of its mission: to be the voice of Brussels businesses. Throughout its three centuries of existence, the organisation has always been able to evolve in response to the needs of businesses.

Beci's new crest, both a shield and the U of BrUssels, embodies our commitment to the region and its entrepreneurs. The star that accompanies it is a strong symbol: an atypical star that illustrates the metropolitan region and our ‘Dare Brussels’ campaign. With this new identity, Beci becomes stronger, more visible and more determined than ever to defend the interests of Brussels businesses. ‘Dare’ is the word that guides this transformation. Together, with the businesses, we dare to imagine a stronger, more modern and more inclusive Brussels, a Brussels economy that innovates, inspires and makes an impact.

This entrepreneurship, currently weakened by the absence of a government in Brussels, needs stability and support. In this particularly uncertain situation, strengthening our region is a necessity. Beci's role is therefore all the more essential in supporting and defending our 35,000 Brussels entrepreneurs.

« Brussels has everything it takes to succeed. As a true European hub, a place of innovation and a region where talent from all over the world comes to create and do business, it offers an incredible opportunity for growth. Today, with its new identity, Beci is stronger, more visible and more determined than ever to defend the interests of entrepreneurs », Annick Hernot, Chairwoman of Beci.

The campaign highlights emblematic entrepreneurs such as Caroline Aelvoet (Sodexo), Arnaud Feist (Brussels Airport), Heidi Delobelle (AG Insurance), Audrey Clabots (Clabots Tools), and Alexandre Helson (Dandoy). We would like to thank Brainwork.studio and Jean de Renesse for their exceptional work, as well as our media partner, L'Echo, for joining us in supporting this campaign. We would also like to thank our long-standing partners, Daoust and Partena, and are delighted to welcome three new partners: ING, Orange and D'Ieteren.
