Brussels, 10 October 24 - BECI has teamed up with BeCode to offer specific training courses on the implementation of Artificial Intelligence and the prevention of cyber risks in Brussels businesses.

BECI is proud to announce its partnership with BeCode, a school specialising in training for digital professions. Located in BeCentral, at the Brussels Central railway station, BeCode offers a range of training courses for adults covering the digital fields required for jobs in data and artificial intelligence, as well as coding, cybersecurity and other high-demand technologies. This makes it a key player in the digital transformation of Brussels businesses.

In an ever-evolving world, the impact of AI on entrepreneurial and operational activities is inevitable. This technological revolution not only requires companies to adapt, but also to become aware of the new challenges these technologies present. It is essential to learn and master these technologies to guarantee the competitiveness of tomorrow's businesses.

This partnership is fully in line with BeCode's mission, which is to train jobseekers but also to enhance the skills of employees in 2025. This objective is perfectly aligned with our goal of increasing the employment rate in Brussels to 80% and training real Brussels talent in digital technologies.

One of BeCode's strengths lies in its accessibility: most of the courses require no prior knowledge, ‘apart from motivation’, as Béatrice de Mahieu, BeCode's CEO, points out. She sees BECI as a unique opportunity to identify the specific needs of Brussels businesses in terms of digital talent.

‘BeCode is doing fundamental work on “employability” in the region: our focus is to train people who are employed but who need training in new digital skills for the workplace, but also to train and support jobseekers who are highly motivated but in a more vulnerable situation, towards a job in tech. It's a big challenge, but companies often welcome us with open arms, to help them with this ‘talent of tomorrow, in the short term’’, says Béatrice de Mahieu, CEO of BeCode.

Thanks to this partnership, BECI will be able to offer specific training courses for businesses in its venues, whether in technological skills, cybersecurity, data or generative AI. The main objective of these courses is to facilitate administrative follow-up and content management, while incorporating the latest technological developments.

‘We're thrilled to be partnering with BeCode, an organisation with a proven track record in digital training for everyone,’ says Thierry Geerts, CEO of BECI.

The training calendar will be posted shortly on the BECI website in the agenda section.
